Jodie Foster's $16 Million Beverly Hills Home for Sale

Jodie Foster has sold her Beverly Hills mansion for nearly double the price she paid for it.

In 2012, the Silence of the Lambs actress purchased the 7,500-square-foot abode for $7.5 million, but recently sold it for $14.9 million Variety reports. The abode was first listed in February for $15.9 million with David Kramer of Hilton & Hyland, a Christie's International Real Estate Affiliate.

According to Variety, the two-time Oscar winner has a history of buying and selling luxurious homes in the Los Angeles area. In 2014, she reportedly let go of a property that she first purchased in 1995 in the sought after Bird Streets neighborhood for a little under $5 million.

In 2011, Foster reportedly sold a home directly behind the celeb-favorite Beverly Hills Hotel for $8.3 million. Her former house was reportedly torn down, and that plot now holds a seven-bedroom, twelve-bath villa, which is currently for sale at nearly $39 million, but has languished on the market for almost four years.
