Giant alligators have been released into the Rio Grande to deter migrants from crossing the border river to the United States, reports Mexican media.
The scare emerged after U.S. Border Patrol agents photographed what looks like an enormous gator swimming near Eagle Pass, Texas, which is a regular crossing point for migrants.
Eagle Pass is across the Rio Grande from Piedras Negras in the Mexican state of Coahuila.
The photo of the gator was featured on the official U.
A highly-decorated Delta Force soldier was fatally injured during a June parachute training accident that was not made public by the military.
Sgt. Maj. Christopher Nelms, 46, was injured during a free-fall training jump on June 27 at Laurinburg-Maxton Airport in Maxton, North Carolina, and died on July 1. He was buried at Arlington Cemetery on July 31.
