Brooke joined the KTVT in August 2019. Most recently she anchored for WCNC-TV which she had joined in May 2015 and left in August 2019. She is now an anchor for multiple evening and 11 p.m. newscasts. In her spare time, Brooke is a fitness enthusiast who has taught aerobics classes since she was at the age of 17.
She worked in a number of professions in her early career days. She was a personal trainer from 1999-2003 and then joined SHADES Theater where she worked as an actor.
Katz worked there for nearly 2 years until December 2005. She later changed her career from acting as Sales Development Coordinator for WCBD-TV, and she started working as a reporter/producer in the same company after working for a year until 2008.
