If a father's blood group is o+ and mothers's is AB+, what would their children be?

pun, lagos nigeria

  • The genotype of the father or possible genes he could pass on would be O O; the mother, A B. The genotype of the children would be AO & BO. This would give the children the phenotype or traits that show, (in this case blood type) A & B, respectively. As both parents are Rhesus positive (+), all children would be too. So their children would either be A+ &/or B+, with no other possible blood group. Hope that answers your Q :)
